About Us
Our History
Elliott Chevrolet, Inc., began in 1961 when Eugene T. Hays purchased Community Motors. The business was owned and operated by Mr. Hays until June of 1980. At this time William J. Elliott, IV, assumed the operation of the franchise and acquired ownership in 1981. The business acquired the Jeep franchise in 1982 and operated as Hays Chevrolet-Jeep until May of 1994 when it undertook the new name of Elliott Chevrolet-Jeep. In 1999 the business added Cadillac to its product lines.
